Ancient Phoenix Pu-Erh is from wild and ancient tea trees from the Yunnan province of China.
These trees have been used for hundreds of years by Buddhist and Taoist monks to enhance their meditation, martial arts, spiritual practices and healing.


This oxidized pu-erh is one of the best tasting we have ever tried. It has a truly unique, rich espresso and mushroom unsweetened chocolaty flavor and smell. The liquor is a rich earth brown that looks like espresso and is thick. The leaves are short, twisted with light and dark brown swirls.


Preparation: Use 1-2 teaspoons per 6-8 oz. cup of water. Rinse leaves 5-7 seconds before steeping. Discard rinse water and refill. Suggested steeping is 3-5 minutes at 212° F.
